One of Hupp's key features is using the VPN alongside local services (banks, government portals, delivery apps) at the same time. You no longer have to toggle the VPN on and off every time you open mobile banking.
Why exclusions matter
With the VPN on, some local apps may run slowly or show access errors because they see a foreign IP address. Exclusions let you split traffic:
- Blocked resources (Instagram, YouTube, Twitter) go through Landora's protected tunnel.
- Local apps (for example banking and maps) go directly through your ISP on your real IP.
How to set it up (step by step)
- Open Hupp with the VPN disconnected.
- Go to Settings (gear icon).
- Find Proxy for selected apps (wording may match your Hupp build).
- Turn on the main toggle in that section.
- In the app list, choose Bypass mode.
- Check the apps that should use your real IP (for example your bank, government app, maps).
- Return to the home screen and connect the VPN.
All set!
Selected apps will bypass the VPN tunnel. That keeps banking fast and avoids access issues from their side.
