What is v2rayTun

v2rayTun is a GUI client app for Android and iOS that creates a secure network tunnel. Think of it as an “engine” that processes Landora VPN’s encrypted protocols and keeps them stable on your device.

Technical foundation

The app is built around the Xray core — one of the most modern and powerful tools for bypassing network restrictions and censorship. Unlike standard VPN clients, v2rayTun focuses on next‑generation protocols such as VLESS and REALITY.

Why we use v2rayTun

We chose this app as the primary client for our users for several reasons:

  • Native REALITY support: it handles traffic camouflage properly, making your connection indistinguishable from ordinary HTTPS browsing.
  • Energy efficiency: v2rayTun is optimized for background operation and typically consumes less battery than classic VPN protocols (OpenVPN or WireGuard).
  • No unnecessary extras: it focuses on connection stability without ads or heavy background services.
  • Flexible routing: it can split traffic (for example, route only blocked resources through VPN while keeping banking apps direct).

Its role in the Landora ecosystem

v2rayTun is not a VPN provider on its own. It’s a tool where you import Landora VPN’s configuration (key).

  • The Landora bot gives you the “address and credentials” to access the network.
  • v2rayTun uses them to build a secure bridge between your device and our high‑speed servers.

Security and openness

v2rayTun is open‑source. This helps ensure there are no hidden backdoors or tracking mechanisms. Encryption happens locally on your device, and access keys are stored in the app’s protected memory area.
